Nekopara

Nekopara is a visual adult novel that was developed by Neko Works and published by Sekai Project. The first volume was released in December 2014. Years after that, the other volumes were released. In 2016, the series had sold over 500,000 copies, and years after that, the series sold over millions of copies.

An anime OVA adaption was also released on Steam in 2017 and made it to the top earners. It was released on Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and as a spin-off game on Steam. What’s good about the gameplay of Nekopara is that it doesn’t require you to move around. The game revolves around the user reading the game’s story. Yes, all you have to do is read the dialogues, that isn’t too hard for you, right? You won’t have many choices in the game, and you will not have any influence on the story. All you have to do is read whatever is shown on your screen. Either way, it will still lead you to have sex with the catgirls.

Nekopara has five different volumes with different storylines. Yes, there are also different sex scenes with different catgirls. The main story of the game starts in volume 0, which revolves around the Minazuki household. Basically, it is where everything starts. The story continues on to volume 1 up to the latest, which is volume 3. There is also an extra which takes place months before volume 1.

Plot

Extra takes place six months before volume 1. Its main focus is on Chocola and Vanilla, and how they struggled to adapt to the Minaduki household when they were still kittens. Vol. 0 is a prequel to the Vol.1, which shows the life of Shigure and the six other catgirls. It has no involvement in the life of Kashou. Vol. 1 is focused on the starting life of Kashou Minaduki as an aspiring chef. Vol. 2 is where Shigure and the other Nekos starts working in La Soleil.

Vol. 3 is the story continuation of La Soleil. It is primarily focused on the other Nekos, Cinnamon, and Maple. It shows how strong their relationship is when they try to help Maple’s dreams come true. Rumor has it that there will be a Vol. 4, but there hasn’t been any official news yet.

What I like about the game

There are so many things to like about the game. One of the many reasons why is because of the graphics. The graphics of the game are one of the most significant factors that a user looks for in a game. When I started playing Nekopara, I immediately noticed how impressive the graphics of the game are. The details, the animation, and the voices on each character are amazing. I instantly knew that I would be fapping to this game for a long time.

The sex scenes in Nekopara is probably what I liked the most. It is so great that I didn’t even last long. Why? Because they’re two fucking cute catgirls that you get to have fun with. Not to mention, they call you their freakin’ master! Isn’t that a fucking turn on? To make it even better, there are different catgirls for you to have fun with. Another great thing about Nekopara is the audio quality you get. What I don’t like about the game

Honestly, Nekopara is a great game, but just like any adult game, there are some things that other users won’t like. For me, it would be the number of dialogues in the game. I know that it is part of the story, but to have that many words to read, it might be confusing to others and might end up getting a headache before they even finish jerking off. The good thing is, though, the words actually have a voice-over, so I think that makes up for it.

In addition, the people behind Nekopara could have given us other options on how we want the positions to be when we have sex with the catgirls. Most of the sex positions in the game are already fixed, where’s the fun in that?

My recommendations for improving the game

Just like what I have said above, the developers Nekopara could have been so much better if we were given different options for the sex positions. With available options for sex positions, it could make us more induced in the game and make our gaming experience a whole lot better. I won’t lie, I love fucking cute catgirls, but with the given sex positions, it kinda takes the fun out of it.

Another option that they could have given is to choose the catgirl you want to have sex with. Since the game has a corresponding story, the catgirls that you have sex with depends on the story. I’m an impatient man, so if I want to fuck that certain catgirl, I don’t want to wait until the end of the story before I get to lay my hands on her.

Furthermore, I know that it follows a certain storyline, and all you have to do is follow, but at least, it should have options for the user as to what they want to say. It could be interesting if the story goes to how the user wants it to go. It got a little boring for me at some point. Why? Well, I just had to read there wasn’t anything else for me to do other than click the mouse again and again.
