Crusoe Had It Easy

I bid greetings to the weird motherfuckers who love to see anything incest related! Here’s a classic game for all of you, incest fetishists. Crusoe Had It Easy is an interactive visual novel with several endings depending on the choices you make whenever the chance shows up. So why is it titled as such? Since this game was made a while ago, the younger people don’t know who he is. Basically, he was a man stranded on an island with a savage companion.

So, Crusoe Had It Easy is basically about you and your cousin(yee-haw to the hillbilly rednecks!) are stranded on a desert island, and both of you have to adjust to the predicament that both of you have ended up in. Our heroine of the story is called Sophie, she calls you(the titular character) “Cuz” because you’re cousins! Your ordinary familial relationship takes a turn when your sexual tensions rise when you start getting physically attracted to Sophie.

The great thing about Crusoe Had It Easy is that depending on the way that you pursue Sophie in this adventure will give you one of seven endings. Your choice in your pursuit of romance with your cousin will happen in various ways. Because your choices have the ultimate power to bring you to either a good ending or a bad ending. Nobody wants a bad ending(unless you’re a weird masochist), so try your best to get every ending.

The Gameplay

As with every visual novel, the main thing you’re going to expect is lots of reading. Well, the perfect thing about this game is that it is quite short, so you’re not having long periods of playtime unless you’re the completionist where you have to get all of the endings. The drawback of it being a short game, though, is that it doesn’t have that many opportunities to show off the adult aspect of the game. Only 3 scenes! So don’t get too excited.

The backstory of how both of you youngsters ended up on that stranded island is presented as such. Both you and Sophie had to take the same exam, so your father had decided to book those tickets for both of you. However, things take a turn for the worst, and the plane crashes into the sea, making you lose all of your things(your laptop and your clothes). This means that neither you nor Sophie has any proper clothing, so it’s swimwear galore!

You are a non-visible character throughout the game. Still, it is said that you are only wearing your swim trunks(sucks for you because you can’t hide any boners), and Sophie is wearing a hand-made bikini and is the only visible character in-game. You, the player, have to hunt, fish, and prepare food - which, of course, is going to be an option that will later decide your ending. One thing is for sure, though, make sure you don’t cross the line with your cousin.

This is the major kicker for the game and will probably influence how you think of ways to reach the ending. The problem is that you are a very horny teenage boy(who has probably lived like every shut-in virgin, who masturbated every day), and I mean, horny! It wouldn’t be that big of an issue. However, you’re stranded on an island with a beautiful blonde cousin who is an abnormal flirt and a tease. So be wary of how you interact with her using that horny mindset!

With this being quite a short visual novel game, there’s not much to talk about. Because due to its shortness, it was given the multiple endings which many can become satisfied with. The titles of each ending possess some sort of humor, so it is a small thing to appreciate. Another thing to appreciate about this is that they have provided cheats. These cheats can change Sophie’s appearance or the type of relationship you have with her(siblings and not cousins).

Crusoe Had It Easy is filled with plenty of light-hearted humor, well-written storylines, great monologue, and even better dialogue. You really couldn’t expect too much from a Flash game. Still, the developers(Marble Syrup) have done their utmost best to provide you with an excellent visual novel experience regardless of the game’s length. This was executed pretty well, considering the various lengths of the different storylines.

What I Like About Crusoe Had It Easy

Each of the positives really brings a positive vibe to the game, so you should expect this to be a little better than your run-of-the-mill adult visual novel. Though I won’t say that there aren’t any negatives because nothing is ever perfect. So buckle in into your sweaty gamer chairs, get comfy, peel your eyes, and shut the fuck up! We are getting to the real reviewing part of this whole review about an incestual relationship!

First of all, the characters aren’t plentiful. It’s only you and your beautiful, sweet, and quite an erotic cousin. This means that there were fewer mistakes made to develop a great character such as Sophie. With the seven different endings, she acts quite differently within the various routes, which are excellently followed up with the artwork and the writing(don’t worry, I’ll expand on that too). So she is the textbook stranded-island-companion.

Second of all, the artwork is simply amazing. Considering that this was just a simple flash game released quite a while ago! The character stills are rather repetitive, but you’ll never get tired of seeing such a charming character. Not only the character drawing, though, but the art used on the scenery is also pretty great. However, your focus will always be on Sophie. It doesn’t change the fact that the artwork is great.

Lastly, the writing was done exquisitely. Again, considering that this is just a regular flash game, it’s quite commendable how they managed to fit all of those story elements into such various short-lived storylines. The writing fits in humor, nostalgia, romance, and all that cheesy junk. The dialogue and monologues were written quite well too; they depict the thoughts and conversations one would have when stranded with such a young beauty.

What I Don’t Like About Crusoe Had It Easy

Like I said earlier, there are negatives about this game, but you shouldn’t let these small, petty reasons stop you from actually trying out this great game. I’m just putting in the negatives to make this a balanced review so that you picky swine sissies won’t flame me for being biased of such an aged, adult interactive visual novel. So to make things balanced, here are the negatives of the game - you spoiled bratty asswipes.

Considering that there are seven different endings, every choice you make will be rather straightforward. Meaning, the choices you make won’t steer you off of the main storylines that you get - unless you look up a tutorial filled with the information on achieving every ending as well as showing every cheat possible accessible in the game. So unless you have the time and completely willing to complete every ending, then you’re not going to play for very long.

Though Crusoe Had It Easy is accessible to everyone with an internet connection, it’s not accessible to everyone completely - if you get what I’m trying to say. Though you can play the game with many endings, there’s basically other endings and other content you can only get by being a Patreon supporter of Marble Syrup. This is kind of a bummer because they still chose to exclude the players who actually like the game but can’t spend money.

Lastly, I’ve been making this the main point of a lot of my opinions. You see, the game is quite short - it won’t even last you ten to fifteen minutes just getting three endings out of the seven. But because of its short length, there isn’t much adult content to really see within the several story routes. You’ll get three main events to get that tiny, pitiful dick of yours rising. Still, then that’s it unless you’ve got the big bucks to become a Marble Syrup Patreon supporter.

Conclusion

All of the visual novel’s attributes come together quite well to provide a well-balanced interactive visual novel, albeit rather quick and simple. The light-hearted humor followed by the good quality adult scenes paired by the fantastic artwork, ultimately giving the internet a light flash game that provided its players with lots of fun experience. Though be warned, it’s not for those who desire a deep, enriched story filled with plenty of adult scenes.
