Like most red-blooded males, I spend a good portion of my day wondering what I’d do if I owned a space station in a futuristic sci-fi universe. On nerdier days, I feel like I might turn it into a DS9-style hub of intergalactic activity. Most of the time, though, I just imagine filling it up with space hookers and slaves, like you do in Stationmaster.

Stationmaster is “a city-building and brothel-management sim with 4X space strategy gameplay that makes you the owner and operator of your own space station,” according to the blurb on the creator’s Patreon page. Hundreds of eager and horny patrons are throwing cash in his direction every month to help develop the game, but you cheapskates can download it for free on Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.

A Deep Simulation for Horny Gamer Geeks

I’m going to tell you right up front that this ain’t a casual porno game. If you’re looking for a quick crank before the boss realizes you’re not working, this ain’t it. First of all, it’s a 5.22-gigabyte download that’ll take you half an hour to download. Secondly, there’s a pretty steep learning curve because the game is ambitious as hell, with all kinds of shit to do and see along the way.

Stationmaster asks users a few basic questions during the setup of the game. Choose a name for the slaves to call you, or just go with the default “Master”, then pick your sexual preferences. You can be a dude, a chick, a futanari, or a dude with no ding-dong. You’ll also choose your slave breakdown. I wanted all females, but they’ve also got males and “in-betweens”, and you can adjust the ratios. “Semi-realistic” includes about 1% trans slaves.

“What are your feelings on aliens?” The question ain’t looking for your opinion on whether Area 51 is full of extraterrestrials or just fucking nerds, but whether you want furry content in your game. I chose the second option, “Accessories can be cute”, represented on the screen by a sexy CG chick with bat wings and devil horns. If you really love yiffing, go with, “Bring on the fur.”

Finally, they ask if you’d like to play the game with Cheat Mode on. This gives you more cash to play with at the expense of some pride. Since it’s my first time playing, and my enormous cock gives me plenty of self-confidence, I chose the free money.

Build an Intergalactic Whorehouse

Once you’re done setting up, it’s time to start building your station up. You start with a barebones structure floating out in the empty vacuum of space. Remember that learning curve I mentioned? Get ready to do some learning, my perverted friend.

The mouse controls the camera. Scroll to zoom in, or use the left button to move the camera around. It took me a few minutes to realize the right button will let you rotate the view/structure. Your first job is to build some pillar structures by clicking the glowing wrench on the closed doors further down the station. I wasn’t sure how many factories or other things I needed, so I built a little bit randomly. At the top of the station, I could see a couple of random visitors walking around.

Shortly after I started, I had my first encounter with an alien. I’m not sure if this was scheduled in the game’s timeline or was random. Based on other things that occurred later, it looks like the game has a bunch of random events that occur. You might get a random slave loli showing up or encounter aliens who gift you a new girl to grope, rape, or even fuck with tentacles. (Got your attention with that part, huh? Keep reading!)

I was hoping this initial alien encounter would lead to sex, but the android-looking bald chick just had a few questions for me. Hopefully, she’ll be back later to get it on. In the meantime, I’ve got slaves to keep me occupied.

Collect Slaves, Bang Them and Pimp Them Out

Within about 5 minutes of starting the game, I found out my space station also had its own orphanage. How did I find out? Well, one of my girls reached “her age of majority,” which ain’t specified in numerical years. This is outer space, after all. You’ve got to remember that we base our years on the revolutions of our planet around our sun, meaning “year” is just shit we made up that only applies on Earth. Alternately, ages aren’t listed in years for more perverted reasons.

I had the option to either enslave this newly “legal” broad or forgive her debts and let her go. I’m not going to tell everyone they should own slaves or anything, but I didn’t have any yet on my space station. Besides, I wanted to see what I could do with these sluts.

The slave screen shows you the girl/guy/futa you own, with a bunch of basic stats and info on the left side. Over on the right, you can adjust her hairstyle, clothing, make-up, and tattoos. Limit their diet if you like scrawny chicks or fatten them up if you’re into chubby broads.

Slaves can be assigned to a variety of tasks, from fighting in an arena, working in a club or dairy, school, or sex training. Naturally, I was eager to have some of my girls work in the Porn Studio or my own suite, but there were also some more immediate options: I could fuck her, grope her, torture her, let my citizens break her in or sell her. I could also take no action, but where’s the fun in that?

I chose to grope her. She gets naked, on her back, and you hear some heavy breathing. The groping plays out largely in the text box, where it plays out a lot like old school cybersex. “You take your time pleasuring her, enjoying her ragged breaths and gentle thrusting.”

Fucking in Stationmaster is better than groping, because you get more animations and more dirty things to do. You can smash a slut missionary, doggy, cowgirl, or anal, just to name a few. I played with Tentacle Missionary for a while, which made my human male avatar disappear, replaced by a floating dick and some tentacles to hold this chick down with.

Fuckdolls, Learning Curves, and Bugs

The learning curve is so steep that I often had trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do, even with the tutorial mode on. I bought some workers, bioreactors, and fuckdolls, then poked around with the menus looking for the next thing to do.

While I was trying to figure things out, random events kept happening. These help make the world of Stationmaster seem like a real, living, breathing thing. The storylines ran deeper than I expected for a city-building/brothel sim. At some point, my redheaded orphan slave was getting shit from the other slaves, who nicknamed her Waifu on account of how I favored her.

The tutorial box at the bottom of the screen told me I had a backlog of tourists trying to get in, but couldn’t because I didn’t have enough portals. The problem was, the menu in the corner wouldn’t let me choose anything to build except for a bar. I clicked all over the goddamn place and checked out the game’s Discord, which had 257 members online at the moment. Somebody else was having the same exact issue, but there was no good answer. I think it may be a bug.

Stationmaster is a much bigger, deeper game than I was expecting from the jump, which may explain a lot of the excitement over it. I didn’t even get to any of that 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate) strategy stuff the blurb talks about, because I was busy working on my own space brothel.

This is not a game for everyone. Stationmaster is a management/strategy game for horny gamers looking for a deep, immersive, and sometimes demanding experience with plenty of opportunities to jack off along the way. The learning curve is steep, but the game rewards you for sticking it out with a variety of perverse CG sex simulations catered to your own deviate impulses. It’s Patreon-supported, so you can toss the developer a few bucks if you’re into it, but it’s available as a free download right now.
