If you’ve read any of my other game reviews, then you know how I feel about text-based adventures. They’ve got a lot of heart and soul, but a game really has to try hard to deliver a fap-worthy experience to gain my respect. It’s not enough to have the text be full of smut and call it a day. A game has to actually provide gameplay and immerse you into the action if you’re going to be jerking off to it or generally enjoy it at all, even if you’re not playing one-handed. I often quote Degrees of Lewdity as the pinnacle of text-based adventure games. And while there are quite a few others that nip at its heels with some new high tech that makes the text pop out a little more, what makes Degrees of Lewdity great is the simplicity and freedom, and the fact that it takes place inside a sprawling open world. That’s the definition of a good text-based game for me.

Now, we’re here to talk about Mopoga, which appears to be a text-based porn game site that provides you a ton of porn games that you can play in-browser or download to your respective platform, provided that the game supports the platform. Most of the games are available inside the browser, so you might as well just play them on Mopoga directly. Now, if you happen to fall in love with one of these titles, I wouldn’t fault you if you wanted to download the bad boy to your computer so that you can play it regularly. The same goes for the mobile titles. Many of these games are long-form and highly addictive, so it’s not like you can be judged for considering them irresistible. They’re made to be compelling. This is porn gaming crack.

<h3>Tons of Visuals for Text Based Games</h3>

You might think that visual games that actually show you the titties are the best and most addictive out there. But, with those games, you’re pretty much drained and satisfied when you see the first sex scene and blow your load. However, with text-based immersive games, you get reeled in by the promise of story development. Your involvement in the story becomes extremely important, and it’s not like the game can play itself. So you have to keep coming back for more to experience more of the story. Also, most of these games are built to be played for a very long fucking time, so it’s not like you can blaze through them and get to the good stuff.

A ton of them don’t even feature outright pornographic content. You have to work for it. Some of them will pepper the story with textual smut, but that’s not nearly as satisfying as actually seeing some titties on the screen, which is why most of these games mix in random sexual visuals with the story to give you a rough idea of what’s happening. Let’s say you’re playing a story that involves you dicking some elf girl in the woods. Well, elf girls don’t exist in real life, so getting some footage of a guy going balls deep in one is probably impossible. What isn’t impossible is for the developer to find footage of a guy going to town on some girl’s asshole, and the whole thing is filmed from behind. You can just make-believe that the girl is, in fact, an elf, when in reality, it doesn’t matter. All the visuals are just that, visuals. They’re decorative. The actual details and facts of the stories are delivered to you through text, and you will be wading through a lot of text to get through a single story.

I should note that as far as I can tell, Mopoga doesn’t get involved in the development of these games. They’re more concerned with the curation process. They try to find text-based games that are worth your trouble, and then they host them for you so you can keep coming back to them time and time again. Considering that most of these titles are free to play, it’s evident that most of them actually receive regular updates. Leave it to Mopoga to reupload these gaming titles with their newer versions while ensuring that your saved files remain compatible with the latest release. This is a great incentive to keep you coming back for more of your favorite games. Then again, some of the games are permanently finished, and you’re free to dive in headfirst and stay within the game until you’ve 100%ed the entire thing. It’s all up to you.

Personally, I have no gripes against Mopoga being entirely focused on text-based adventures. I’ve got a ton of links on my website that lead to more tangible pornography if you’re looking for interactive art with a bit more life to it. But, for the nerds who prefer your smut with a bit more of a poetic arc to it, you’ve got Mopoga. <strong>Their list of games keeps expanding as the owners find new and exciting titles that fit the bill</strong>. But, for now, they just about have enough games to keep you satisfied for a few years, provided you spend every waking second doing nothing but playing porn games. That’s a decent amount of porn games. So, you have nothing to complain about.

Did I mention that every single game on this site is available entirely for free? That’s right. You’re free to download the games or play them online without having to pay a single cent. Combine that with the fact that your saved files are permanently safe, and you’ve got yourself the perfect recipe for a repeat website that you can bookmark and keep coming back to every single time you take a shit break. Also, if you work at an office and your job is particularly boring, I’d recommend that you kindly excuse yourself two to three times a day to go to the bathroom and spend up to an hour each time on your phone, playing textual porn games on Mopoga. It’s worth noting that once you start up a game, you have the option to mute it before the game rolls out, in case there’s some background music or sex noises that you’d like to be on the lookout for. They’re really going out of their way to cater to the common man. Don’t you just hate loading up a porn game that starts blaring sex noises at top volume, so everyone in the library is suddenly staring at you like you murdered their dog? Yeah, avoid that bullshit by playing your games on Mopoga. You can make damn sure that the games will stay perfectly silent. Alternatively, you could just mute the whole website. That’s what I usually do when there’s no mute button.

All in all, Mopoga is doing a fantastic job at being a one-stop-shop for textual games. On top of that, most of their games feature a ton of visuals that are sort of an accompaniment to the action. They don’t flat out show you what’s going on within the story, but they’re supposed to act as visual aids. If the game describes a particular piece of ass, you get to see a fantastic piece of ass on-screen to help you get in the mood. It all flows very neatly.

It’s also worth noting that most of these games are either open world or open-ended. You pave your own way through the stories, and you have a lot of choices along the way. Some of them appeal to men, a few appeal to gay men, and I suppose that most of them could be enjoyed just fine by women as well. The site has a little something for everyone, and it’s all available for free. I can’t give them enough praise for what they’ve accomplished, and I just wish that they keep growing their library regularly down the line. That’s the most crucial element to running your own porn game site in my book.
